FAA Approved Motion Picture & Television Manual

In today’s production of closed set filming. The FAA has come up with standards and limitations to mitigate the risk to the public and non-participating members. This includes low level stunt flying and aerial filming below 500 feet.

The FAA has determined that Chapman Aerospace LLC aircraft pilot/operator has developed an acceptable operations manual for use in motion picture and television filming production. Additionally, the aircraft pilot/operator has developed safe operating procedures, guidelines, and criteria to operate. After successful completion of this task results in the acceptance of Chapman Aerospace LLC operations manual, Certificate of Waiver or Authorization
